Every prop firm account has a floor: a balance it must stay above. Enter your account's numbers to find the floor and how much room you have left under the three common drawdown rules.

Floors are usually checked against your equity, including open positions at their current price, not just your cash balance.
Floor = starting balance × (1 − drawdown). It never moves. On a $25,000 account with a 10% drawdown, the floor is $22,500 however well you trade. Lenium evaluations use a 10% static floor.
Floor = highest balance × (1 − drawdown). It rises with every new high and never falls. Reach $27,000 and a 10% floor moves up to $24,300. Lenium funded accounts trail 10% and Instant accounts 6% this way.
Floor = highest balance − (starting balance × drawdown). The gap stays the same number of dollars. Reach $27,000 with a $2,500 drawdown and the floor is $24,500. This is common at futures prop firms, often with the floor stopping at the starting balance.
| Highest balance | Static | Trailing (% of peak) | Trailing (fixed $) |
|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $22,500 | $22,500 | $22,500 |
| $26,000 | $22,500 | $23,400 | $23,500 |
| $27,000 | $22,500 | $24,300 | $24,500 |
| $30,000 | $22,500 | $27,000 | $27,500 |
When a market resolves, the price jumps straight to $1 or $0, so a position can lose its whole cost at once and a stop order can't cut that loss halfway. Size each position so that losing all of it still leaves you above the floor; the Kelly calculatorincludes a position cap for that. Full details of Lenium's floors are on the rules page.
